About This Chapter
In the middle of the night, the principal of a high school in a small town in central Japan is getting ready to go to a cultural festival. He's got a message for his students: there's going to be a movie in the school's theater tonight, and he wants to see it. He asks the head chef of the cafe where he works if he can have two of his tuna toasts. The head chef says he'll have to buy them from a corner store, but he's so good at his job that he doesn't mind. The director of the movie, who's playing the lead role in the film, is also in the theater, and the head of the production company is also there. They're all excited to see the new movie, which they've been working on for the past few weeks. The principal asks if they're done with the movie yet, and they all agree that it's a good one. He then asks if the director has a girlfriend, and she says she does. He tells her that he has a crush on her, and that she's the only girl in the world who has ever drooled on his face. He wants to know what the heck is going on, and asks if she'll come and watch the movie with him.
