The narrator wakes up early and tells Ube that he's been thinking that she needs to spend more time with her hair. Ube says that she's got a bad haircut, but it's not that bad. The narrator tells her that if she changed her hair and let her eyes show, her hair would look totally different. He's surprised that Ube didn't notice him, because he always thought that she was just some crazy girl who just wanted to show off her hair, but Ube just scored some big points in his book. UBe asks him if she'll wear his hair like this tomorrow, and the narrator says that if Ube does his hair again tomorrow, it'll look like UBe's face. UBE says that he was the only person who saw her face before, so he wants to make sure that she doesn't wear her hair like that again tomorrow. UB asks him to make his hair messy, and UBe says that's what he should do. He says that UBe should go back to wearing her hair the way it was before, because it looks like Ube's "face." UBe wants to know if Tsubaki told her to go back, but he says that it wasn't, because UBe was already wearing her old hairstyle when he told her that she should do it again. He asks UBe if he could grab his head with his hands and mess it up, and she says yes. She asks if she could do it with her glasses so they're still on, and he says yes, and then she asks if he'd like to make her hair messy again.
