In this chapter, the narrator blames his grandmother for her cruel treatment of him and his family. He tells the audience that he has discovered the internal problems within the group and that what he took from the Ming family was actually fake news. He also thanks his aunt for helping him break the secret that he can't reveal to the public. He says he can kill his wife and children as long as he gives an order. The family shouts that he should surrender himself. The narrator says that she has worked hard all her life to get where she is today. She says she has married someone she didn't like, and that he also did not love her. He even asked her to stop marrying him, and even when she gave birth to a child, he asked her not to marry him. He said that he would elope with her, even though she said that she would never allow anyone to marry her and others to have it. He adds that he still has a contract with her to sign, but she has become mentally ill and has been sent to a mental asylum to recuperate. She has also reunited with the family and had the wedding they wished for.
