In this short scene, we are introduced to Mr. Gan and his younger sister, Miss Gu, who are at a party in Shanghai. Miss Gu is an "entertainment reporter" , and she has come to the party in order to flirt with some of the celebrities present. She is also the younger sister of the famous "movie king" . The party is being held at a hotel in Shanghai, and the guests are being watched. The guests are aware of Miss Gu's presence at the party, but they do not know that she is a "respectable bitch" who is trying to "expose my identity as an entertainment reporter." Miss Gu tries to make the guests feel sorry for her, but the guests do not seem to understand her. They do not want Miss Gu to be around, and they refuse to allow her to ride on the party bus with them. The two of them decide to dance, but Miss Gu does not know how to do so.
