We are told that she is very ill and has been sent to the hospital to have her cecum cut off. She is so upset that she does not know what to say to her husband. He tells her to go to work and that he will always love her no matter what she is doing. He also tells her that she should eat the porridge that he has prepared for her. He says that if he were her, he would have to deal with all the documents that come with the job. He then tells his wife that he is sorry that she has been so upset. He reminds her that mistakes are taken out of her tea and leave, and that no more mistakes will be allowed for her to make in the future. Shu-Ling tells her husband that he should knock on the door the next time he is at the office. She then tells him that the porridge is good for her health and that she will soon die.
