When she found out that she was pregnant, she returned to China and gave birth to her son, who is named Yaoyao. The protagonist explains that her grandfather was against giving birth to his son, but she insists on doing so. When the protagonist arrives in China, she finds out that he is the son of an old relative of hers, an leng family member. She explains that the leng and the hanyu families are business rivals, meaning that they cannot be together. She tells the protagonist that she will have to go to a shareholders' meeting in a few days to discuss the matter. She also tells him that the company has been profitable, and that it would not be a big issue if the company were in trouble. She asks the protagonist why they have not been able to find out the exact reason for the company's troubles. She says that they have been unable to contact the hongxin, the eldest son of the huilin family, because after his father's death, hanyu had never heard from him. She returns to the mall, where she finds that the other business under the name of an xin is the same as the one under her grandfather's name. She wonders why the company would want to sell its own shares, and the protagonist says that the reason has not yet been found. He tells her to go back to the boss and ask him.
