In this short scene, we learn that Tommo is a time-slipper. He's also a thief, so he's got to be a thief to be able to live on his own. We learn that he lives alone in a small apartment in the future, and that he can choose where he goes and who he goes to whenever he wants. We also learn that the cat hospital where Tommo works is only a few minutes away.
