In this chapter, we learn that Aoshima has been rejected by his wife, and that he has been living with her in her apartment for ten years. He is shocked to learn that his wife has dumped him, and he wonders where his wife is. He tells us that it is now ten years since his wife dumped him. He urges his friend fuji to open his eyes to reality and forget about his wife.
