Okay, we're back with the narrator. He's got some bad news: his wife's not going to be able to compete in the next race because of a shoulder injury. Okay, so the narrator is bummed out. He was in first place for most of the race, but then he had a bad shoulder injury and ended up last. The narrator can't believe that the girl he was supposed to compete with is not even in the race. He also cant believe how fast the girl from zaisui is. He says that the swimmer is dropping off the pace, and that his wife is pushing herself too hard. So, the narrator says, he's bummed out, but he'll give it up for the sake of his wife.
