The guidance counselor tells the girl that it's going to be hard for her to get into a four-year college, but she can make it there. The girl wonders what she'll do after she graduates, and the counselor tells her to think about her three career choices. First, she says, she wants to be a teacher; second, a school teacher; and third, an electric medusa or mat . The counselor then tells her that there are no colleges willing to accept her, so she has to go to school to buy herself more time to think things over. She says she's worried that she won't be able to find a good occupation after college, and that's why she needs to go into the real world.
