The captain of the school's volley ball team, Aoshima, asks his wife, Wagatsuma, what she thinks of his relationship with the young man. She doesn't seem to think much of him, and she's surprised that he went out with him. The captain tells her that he's happy with his life, and that he feels like he made a "true friend" by hanging out with the man. He's not the only one who feels this way. A few days later, he receives a text message from his fiancee, saying that she sent him a message asking him to continue his work on the school newspaper.
