In this chapter, we learn that Aoshima's brother, Ken nii san, has just arrived in Japan. He's a member of a Japanese comedy troupe, and he wants to speak to a Japanese person. Ken is a big guy with a big mouth and a big nose. He wants to know what business brings him to Japan, and Ken says he's going to see what the real things are like in Japan for himself. Ken asks if he can eat sushi, which is a traditional Japanese dish. Ken says it's not as traditional as it sounds, because there's no such thing as a "takenoko zoku" . Ken then asks if Ashima has confirmed the demise of the "takenoko zoku," a Japanese dish that was popular in the country before the invention of the rice cooker. Ken also asks if there are any other Japanese people who can do the job. Ken tells us that there was a big idol event in Japan, so he put his otaku arts to good use. He asks if everyone is a good sushi chef, and if they even know how to make it. He then asks what the heck happened to the dinner, and wonders if the food tasted good. He also asks why they're bringing it up all of a sudden, and what they should do with it. Ken concludes that they should watch a show about celebrities visiting other countries, but he doesn't want to spoil it for you.
