Okay, so now that he's alone, he can't figure out why she would have rejected him in the first place. Um, what? Well, apparently, the girl did hate him, but she also hated the guy who rejected her. So, yeah, she hated him, too, but not as much as the guy she rejected. OK, now that we've got that out of the way, let's get back to the subject at hand: what's the deal with the runaway kid? Okay, we'll get to that in a second. But first, we need to talk about the guy that rejected him. The runaway kid is, of course, Hiroyuki's brother, and Hiroyuki is psyched to have him as a brother-in-law. He wants to know how Hiroyuki acts towards the girl who rejected him, so he asks her what her favorite show is, and what kind of food she likes, and so on. Hiroyuki says that he was busy studying the night before, and that's why he couldn't say no to the girl he rejected. But then he asks if Hiroyuki has any favorite shows, and she says no, which makes him even more excited.
