At the beginning of the chapter, we are introduced to the main character, a man named Tomoyuki, who is in love with his wife, Wagatsuma, and who is planning to have sex with her at the end of this year. He tells us that he has no idea what his wife is talking about, but he does know that he loves her. He also tells us about his dream that he will kiss his wife and that they will have sex at the same time. The dream is interrupted by the announcement that they are going to have a pro wrestling match in the same shopping district. The group, known as the "dx corps," has been granted permission by the wrestling company to work as a staff on the event. The other members of the group, who are referred to as "matrix" and "mat," are shocked to learn that they have been given permission to work on such a big event. They also learn that the wrestler they are about to fight is none other than "Mat" , who has declared that he is leaving the group and has not been heard from since. They wonder if this is the man they are looking for, and if it is his uncle, who they think is after them
