The wedding will be presided over by the old King, who will be replaced by the new King. The old King tells his son to come with him to the wedding. He tells him to visit him when he woke up, and he tells him that his father sent a doctor to check for poisonous insects in his daughter's hair. The new King says that it is a good thing that his daughter has such a bad hair, as she will be ugly the next day. The King then shows the young couple the imperial edict that he gave to them before he died, which states that they must publicly announce their true identity. The young couple is grateful for the King's kindness.
