This scene opens with a flashback to the childhood of the father and son. The father tells his son that when he woke up from childhood without seeing him, the prince got scared and slept with him all the time. He tells the son that he will be waiting for him to take him out the next day. When the prince arrives at the banquet, the father tells him that they are there to enjoy themselves and not to discuss politics. He then tells the prince that he can refuse the toasts, but when he goes to the womens banquet, he will not be allowed to refuse. He asks the prince to help him return to the palace.
