This chapter opens with a conversation between Milady and her mother. Milady tells her mother that she has made up her mind about her marriage and that she will not tell her mother about it again. She tells her aunt that her embroidery has fallen into the hands of princess sunrise, who is now living in Milady's house. She also tells Milady that she plans to have a tea party for princess sunrise at her house this afternoon, and Milady invites her to come to the party as well
