In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters who are introduced for the first time in the novel. We learn that the main character, "Gong Ju," is the cousin of the main protagonist, "Ling Ju," and that the two are of different blood types, but their relationship is superior to that of "most biological" couples. We also learn that, although the two of them do not have children, they are in love, and that they plan to marry. We are also introduced to some of the characters who were introduced in the previous chapters, such as "Swish Grasp" and "Gung Ju." This chapter introduces us to the "swish grasp" and the "gung jue."
