In the middle of the night, the three men go to check on the progress of the battle. They find that the enemy army has been fortifying its position at the border of the two countries. The three men decide to go to the enemy camp and wait for the attack to begin. They are about to do so when they hear the sound of a wolf's hoof. They realize that the wolves are enemy spies and decide to search the camp for them.
