In this chapter, the girl and her companions discuss their situation on the island. They have not seen any roads or buildings from the ocean, and the only thing that has improved is that they have introduced themselves. The girl says that she is a shionjo from 2 years old, and that she has been reading matani since the first year of her school. She has not been absent from her studies, and she has not had any hobbies or late-night activities. She says that this is not the first time she's been stranded on an island. She tells the girl that she must be kidding on the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the Pacific Ocean, or the Persian Gulf. She adds that this must have been a "quite ordeal" for the girl. She explains that they need to collect water from some plants, but that it will take them a long time to figure out how to do so. They don't even have a fire to boil water, and since they don t have access to fire, they can't use it.
