This is a locked chapterChapter 91: Flowers of the Sea: So La Ti Do
About This Chapter
The first thing we learn in this chapter is that the floating position is the most important position to take when you're in the water, because it's where you can rest and relax. It's also the position that you should use when waiting for help in the middle of the night, when you might get a cramp in your foot and need to rest. The second position we learn is the one that's used when we're waiting for rescue: the help position is where you'll stand up and hold onto your chest, stomach, groin, and knees. It helps you stay warm in the cold, so you won't fall off of the boat. The third position is what we call the "help position" , which is where we'll find out what's going on when we get to the bottom of the sea. The water is blue, so we can't really see how far below you it is. So we can see that there's a lot of water below you, which means you've probably been swimming in the wrong direction. The narrator says that he's probably scared of the water. He's got a hunch that something's wrong with the ocean, but he doesn't know what. He starts to panic, but then he calms down and says, "I'm probably scared" . He says that if they don't get help soon, they'll all be in big trouble. He asks if they're going to have to go back to the boat, and if Asuka and Mina are going to be blamed for the whole thing. He tells them to calm down, and says that they can rest if they need to. They're fine, he says, if they want to go under
