The girls are making a raft out of mothballs and other bits of wood, and they're getting ready to go fishing. They're worried about getting back on the raft, but they decide to go anyway. The girls talk about how they've never been out on the water before, and how they wonder if they can pull a fish out of the water, even if it's just a piece of raw shrimp. They talk about the three sharks that are on the horizon, and the girls worry that if they fall in, they'll be eaten.
