The girls decide to go up to the sea to get a rope that they can use to build a new shelter. They're not sure how they're going to get the rope, but they think they'll be able to use it for a long time. Asuka's like, "Whoa, ho down, pretty hard now" . The girls think it's time to go back inside the shelter, but there's no point. They can't get dry clothes out of the fire, so they decide to splash and wait it out. They don't want to get caught in the storm, but asuka says she's going to go swimming for dinner. They decide to use a lightning rod as a way to protect themselves from lightning, but the girls are worried that lightning will strike too far away to be safe. They wonder if they should try using the lightning rod to make a lightning bolt.
