Back on the raft, Shmoop complains that he's so thirsty that he can't breathe. He's sure that if they drank the water, they'd become sick and die. He tells his friend that they'll have to row to the other side of the island to get water, since there is no water on the island. They'll make sure that the bottles stay behind them as they head back to the mainland
