About This Chapter
It's been a while since the last chapter, but we're back with the flashback. It turns out that the kid was a girl, and that he's older than the rest of the gang. Okay, so now that we've seen the flashback, it's time to get back to the action. The kid's name is "Kotodama" , which means "old lady" in Japanese. He's got two tasks to complete: 1) eliminate the girl and 2) find out what he was told about the girl. The first task is to find out who the girl is, and the second is to figure out what the girl's identity is. We're not sure what the second task is going to be, so we'll just have to wait and see. The basement is full of stairs, so it'll be easy to get in and out of the building. The only problem is that there's not a lot of room to maneuver around. We learn that there are 60 floors in the basement, so that's about as much as you can get out of a building. We also learn that akina is in the building, too, so maybe they'll make it out okay. We get the feeling that the girl isn't the only one who's trying to get into the Senate building, but that she's probably the one who got into it with the kid. So, we get the sense that the guy in the flashback is probably the girl, not the other way around. The flashback ends, and we get a little glimpse of what's in store for us in the future.
