The next morning, kotoha wakes up to find that he's slept through the night. He's bummed that he can't go back to school, but he also wants to get some work done before the day's over. He wants to eat some more food, so he opens the window to see what's going on around him. He notices that there's still a lot of activity in the town, and he wants to do something to help. He tells himself that he needs to go to Juri's house and talk to her, because she'll be able to give him the latest information on the town's residents. Ooh, sounds like a good idea. Then he asks if the town council is out, and she says they're out, too. He asks if she's talking to the director of the school, and the girl says no, but that she'd like to talk to him. Aww, that's kind of a weird request. He says he'd rather talk to the girl himself, because he doesn't want to upset her. But then he realizes that the girl's favorite thing to eat is cheese cake, and that she thinks the whole town will be fine if it's all hunky-dory. He decides to go knock on her door, and if she can do it, he'll take her body.
