About This Chapter
In this final scene, the gods summon Mizuki and tell him to shut up. Mizuki asks if he is really a god, and Mizuki replies that he is, but that he has accumulated a lot of memories, and that he will keep them a secret. He tells the gods that he hates them for desecrating the graves of those who died on the other side, and he tells them that he himself is the one who has a grudge against them. The gods tell him that it is unfair to leave him unarmed, and they urge him to use his fists. He says that he and Enjin are in a "staggered mate," and that Enjin might act weird, but he is still sharp. He urges him to remember what the gods have taught him, and to open his field of vision.
