The next morning, the gang heads back to the hotel, where they're joined by the Prefectural Police, who have set up a special team to go after the target. They've heard that the target is moving across the East China Sea toward Izu City, so they've got to get there ASAP. Everyone's bummed that they haven't caught a single bite of fish, but the gang's got a new plan: They're going to take off in their new clothes, and then they'll call the police to report what's going on. They don't want to get caught in the middle of the action, and they'd like to get some "divine pro-tection" from their grand parents before they leave. The Prefectural police have already set up their special team, and the target has already moved across the sea. The gang has heard that some of the police officers are still missing from the mountain, so it's safe to assume that they won't be able to get to the target this time around. They also have some news: the target's been moving in the direction of the Izu-Sakura coastline, which means that she's probably going to cross the river and head north toward the island.
