The chapter opens with Hiroshi's greeting to Maria bell, who has come to pick up Hiroshi. Hiroshi tells her that he's waiting for her at the life counseling office. He's glad she's here, and he thanks her for her wallet. He tells her to keep his mouth busy, because he'll always feel her up when he meets her. He says that he used to read books when he was a kid, but now he finds them too dusty and old. He wonders if there's any difference between how shiina used to be and how she is now. He compares her to a half-demon, half-human being. He also says that people can't kill people without reason, even if they don't know about it.
