The chapter opens with Mina and Oni's conversation. Mina asks Oni if she wants to go for a ride, but Oni says she's afraid she'll get stuck on the side of the road. Mina tells Oni that the ghost of Oni has been haunting the town, and that she needs to figure out a way to get rid of it. Oni tells Mina that she should try to apply spiritual pressure to the people instead of relying on the ghost to do it for her. Mina says she can't believe that Oni is so mean to her, but she also says that she tries to be nice, but the ghost is still haunting her. She tells Mina to stop being nice, and she says she will chop Mina in half if she doesn't stop. Mina tries to get Oni to stop talking about the ghost, but it's too late. She asks Mina to take her to bed, but Mina says it'll be too late to do that. Mina then asks Mina if she can take Oni as her pupil, and Mina says yes.
