He also tells him what he will do about the school he runs now. He says that he must go into the next generation of scientists and learn about the latest developments in science and technology. He asks his father if his son will join the senate. His father replies that his son is not joining the senate, but that he hopes he will join soon. The two men discuss their hopes for the future of science and how they will be able to use this knowledge to help the world.
