It's the day of the cherry blossom season, and the director of the town's witch's office is hanging out with a new resident, Kotoha isone. Kotoha tells the director that she's happy to meet him, but she warns him not to be too reserved. The director tells Kotoha that he's already arranged a place for her in the town, and that she can live and work there as long as she wants. He tells her that she shouldn't worry about him being locked up, because the town doesn't need him to do anything. He says that instead of locking up the demons, the town wants them to live as individuals, and not as chains. He gives Kotoha a message from chan, who's sent him a message, too.
