In this chapter, Oshuu explains that he plans to sacrifice sakura on the tenth of October, which marks the end of the month of Nisan. He says that he is going to sever the ties between life and death, as the river that separates them is not the "real" river, but the "dark side" of the universe. He adds that he will be doomed to wander "the shores of the Sanzu river" for the rest of his life.
