The next morning, Hirokazu asks Tosako if he can borrow the key to the patrol car. Hirokasako says he'll do so after he stops by the office to check on his wife, who's been sick all day. He's glad to see that she's feeling better, though, because he's worried that she can't control her own power. He asks if she can take a medicine to help her feel better, and she says it's a wheat flour-based thing called "cine" . She's not sure if it'll help her, but she'll take it anyway. She says she'd feel better if she took a placebo effect, and Hirokazuku says she should take a real medicine, too, since it'd be better than a placebo. He tells her to go out and patrol, and then he tells her that she shouldn't worry about her power, since she can do whatever she wants with it. He compares his power to that of a child, and says that he grew up to be strong enough to do whatever he wanted with his life. He says that his power is the same as a child's power, and that there are things that are too strong for him to control. So, he says, there's nothing wrong with being strong, even if you're not. He thanks him for being kind and gentle, and tells him to share that power with everyone else.
