About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of Mina's shrine, which she describes as "pretty incredible" and "quite a combo" . Mina explains that the shrine is "sadly lacking a divine item" , and that Mina and her friends have made "a hundred prayers" to the goddess of the shrine. Mina says that the town has a "swell" of gods, but they are "more like friends" than anything else. Mina thanks Spanuka for helping her clean up the office, and she says that she'll stick around to see what Mina has to say. Mina notes that knowledge is passed on from teacher to student, and as such, it's her duty to keep track of how far Mina has come. She says she's going to record the whole thing on her phone. Mina tells us that the two organizations that exist in the town are the Sakurashin neighborhood association, which is responsible for governing the town, and the Hiizumi life-counseling office, which deals with helping the people. The hiizumi office deals with assisting demons in their daily lives. The mayor of the town is also a member of the hiizomi clan, and he's been a big help to Mina and the other members of the clan. Mina also tells us about how the clan came up with the idea of using the seven pillars to search for the soul of oushuu. The idea is to use the energy that's flooding the world to send the soul back to the branch family where it belongs. Mina asks Mina if she has any plans for the future, and Mina says she doesn't have any plans at all. She's working on a new dish, but Mina thinks it'd be "crazy enough" to stuff it with crazy genius.
