About This Chapter
Enos tells us that sometimes he sees two paths before him, and he must choose one path. He uses the independent all- link system to activate the other, but there are so many people on Enos's planet that he can't do anything about it. Enos says that there's only one way to get back to Edens, and that's the only way to escape. He's glad he got this escape ready just in case, because he's worried that Enos and Furena are going to die together. They're not going to let Enos beat them, he says, and they're going to go to hell if they do. The antimatter bombs Enos had planned to use to destroy all the androids on the planet have been stopped, but 20 thousand of them are still going to be set off on the colony of Enos. He says that the sky is packed with people fleeing the colony, and Enos is worried that they'll die if they don't leave. All the imperial ships have been ordered to leave the area, but Enos doesn't believe them. He wonders if creed and Jesse are still on the island, and wonders if they've been lying. They look like they have fled, too, Enos thinks. He feels like he is her kid, and she is like his mom. He can accept that, but he still feels bad about the whole thing.
