This chapter opens with a soliloquy by Elsie Le lendard, the heir of the throne of lendard. She says that she is the rightful heir, and that she refuses to allow Caius to take control of the dragons. She tells Caius that they have deactivated all the dragons around her, and she feels that she has finally seen the real Caius. She also tells him that one day, she will give him the ship, and he will give it to her. Caius says that he cannot keep the ship at the theme park, because there are too many visitors. Elsie says that if Caius does not destroy her now, he will possess her again. She begs him to put her back to normal, so that she will never lose Caius again
