Back on the planet lendard, the crew is talking about how they're going to get rid of the evil crow. They're talking about a bunch of different things, but the one thing that sticks out to them all is that they've got to go to the core of the world and destroy it. The guys are all psyched about that, and they all head off to find the core. Jim asks if he can pilot a knight's gear, and the guy says he's been training for a long time, so he knows how to defeat the bad guy. Jim's psyched that the guy is willing to help them out. He's also psyched that he'll be able to do it on his own. Jim tells the guys to go underground and fight the bad guys. He also tells them to wait for him at the point where they'll find the rest of the crew. He says that the starfighter is going to crash, and that they need to figure out a way to get it back. Jim says that they should wait for the other guys at the same point, but that's not going to work. He tells the crew that they have a lot of control over the airspace, so they should use their own judgment. He then tells them that he doesn't care about Elsie, because she's acting independently. Jim then tells the group that he has to take down Ziggy, because he taught him a lot about the importance of family in the crew, and he can't bear to see him go mad like that any longer. Jim is psyched about the fact that he can take down the evil guy, but he also knows that he won't be the first sacrificial victim.
