Chapter 72 opens with a description of the three intruders: the witch, the Sorceress, and Dr. Sands. The witch takes care of them all, and the sorceresses fight is natural. Dr. Sandefur wonders how they managed to turn the armor of the Eden zero into paper. He wonders if someone gave the ship an ether gear, which can turn armor into paper, and he wonders if this power is a drakken, which turns armor into something else. The sorceress announces that whoever brings the intruders to her will get their debts erased. She tells the captain that they must hurry to a secluded place, where they will be able to find the intruders. The captain tells them that they will have to beat up the intruders and take them in. He tells them to "stomp stomp stomp stomp, um stomp air" . He says that he has to throw "em a bone" now and then, but now that the entire populace recognizes them, he can do that. He decides to change into a noble woman's clothes and pretend that they need money. He asks the captain how much he wants, and when the captain tells him that he wants more, the captain says that they should go to a loan shark and pretend to need money
