In this chapter, we learn more about the events of the previous chapter. In the meantime, we're told that the union army is on their way to the ship, and that they're planning to fight the justices on the other side of the galaxy. We learn that a chronophage has arrived, and it's headed for the galaxy's other planets. We also learn that the ship's engines have been blown out, which means that the whole crew has to get out of the way. The only thing that's keeping the crew from running away is the fact that the other ship, the Edens zero, is about to launch, and the crew has no idea what's going on.
