About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist is a shiki, or a robot, from another universe. We learn that three years ago, an antimatter bomb exploded on a planet called nero 66, and the protagonist had a choice: run away from the explosion or stay and wait for it to end. He chose to run away, but the explosion would have destroyed the planet. Now, he says, something happened, and instead of running away, he was thrown into the future. The robot tells the protagonist that the human race has been extinct for 20,000 years, and that they must find a way to resurrect it.
