About This Chapter
The pirate tells Elsie that he's going to kill her if she doesn't leave the castle. He tells her that justice told him to keep an "eye on" her, but he didn't tell him not to do it. He's not going to let her suffer, he tells her, because he knows that she'll never tell him anything about her family, friends, or money. He wants to see her suffer even more, he says, so that he can witness her suffering and misery. Elsie tells him that she saw all of the dragons, and that justice was just getting ready to witness her misery. The pirate wants to know what happened to her parents, who lived in the castle on lendard. If they hadn't been involved in the civil war, they would still be there. He says that Elsie's highness signals are coming from the castle, and he'll show her something fun to cheer her up. He asks her why she's so sad, and she says that it's because she was so stupid to betray her family. He also says that he treated her like a family, and now he wants to show her how much fun it is to be a pirate. He teases her for being so happy to be safe, and says that she should stay out of the castle because the castle is a "trap" . He adds that the pirates will stop attacking if he defeats Elsie. He then asks her about her sister, who seduced and killed a man named Homura, and then she killed him herself. He promises to help Elsie stop the dragons.
