It's hot outside, and the narrator is having sex with a childhood friend. He's going to be a second-year student at the same school as the narrator's childhood friend, Eryone. The narrator is excited to meet Eryon, who's a member of the school's student council. He asks if anyone else is interested in joining the club, and she says she's heard of many people who would be interested, but she doesn't know anyone who would want to join. The two of them chat about their previous studies, and how they've both been studying abroad. The first time they met, he went abroad for a year, but he didn't really enjoy it. The second time, the narrator went for a whole year, and he was really into it. He tells the narrator that he's attending the club meeting that's being held this weekend, and that he feels like he hasn't been able to see his childhood friend in a while. He says he'd like to go with him, but that he forgot something in the club room, so he'll have to go home alone. The conversation turns to the club's upcoming play, "Grateful," in which the two students are going to present a story to a group of people.
