It's the end of the summer vacation, and Shmoo has finally found a job. Shmoo sighs that he's pretty sure he'll be able to find a job somewhere in the city. He's also happy that he hasn't had to wait long for the train to come to pick him up from his job interview. He tells Shmoo that he looks forward to the festival, even though he didn't think he'd make it to it the last time he was there. Shmo asks Shmoo if he wants to go to the shoot gallery with him, which Shmoo says he does, because Shmoo is so excited about the yukata that Shmoo can't wait to tell Shmoo about his job hunt. He then asks Shmo if he can have a look at the fireworks display, which is about to start, and he tells Shmo to hurry up and get away from the crowd of people watching them. He gives Shmoo a souvenir from his trip to the shooting gallery, but Shmoo doesn't know if Shmoo's going to like it, so Shmoo gives him a kiss.
