"Hot Day with a Broken Air Conditioner" is the title of this short scene. It's set in the middle of a hot summer day, and it's about to get really hot when the narrator's childhood friend, a "sweaty childhood friend" , comes running out of the house. The two of them lick each other's pant lines, and the narrator tries to shake him off with a shake of his hand. He's also trying to get him to eat some food, but he's too lazy to do so. He tells his friend that he'll have to "act more mature" if he wants to catch up with him in the future. He also tells him that he has to compete against a kid at a school festival that's going to be held the next day. The narrator asks the friend to show him around, but the friend says he'd rather go home and get his homework done
