He realizes that he has entered a "mixed bath" . He wonders if anyone has entered the bath by mistake, and he wonders why they should not stay for a while longer. He worries that if someone enters the bath, they will not notice him until he is gone. He is worried that he will be seen by others, and that they will think he is "embarssing"
