This chapter opens with the sound of a dragon's voice. It's the voice of young master Xiao-yan, who has come to rescue his sister, who is being held captive by the underworld pythons. The young master is shocked to learn that the girl is his little sister, and that she's been taken in by the snake heavenly palace as a captive. He's furious that the snake palace treated her so poorly, and he's sure that he'll be able to find someone who loves him, like he did when he met Miss Xun'er. He tells her that he heard about her affairs and wanted to meet her, but he didn't know that the underworld snake clan would find out that he was a member of their clan, so he wanted to kill her first. He apologizes, and says that he won't do it again. The snake master tells him that he has a pill beast that he can use to cure the girl's poison, but that she has to come with him to get it. The two of them go to the main hall of the snake heaven, where the seals are still missing.
