Billy wants to know why the crystal is so hot, but he can't figure out how to get rid of it. The crystal is supposed to grow bigger after the lion grows to the fourth rank , so if the lion eats it, it'll become a fifth-ranking beast. Billy thinks that the crystal might be a nation, and he wants to smash it into pieces with the crystal . But he's too hot to do that, so he grabs the jade stone and sticks it in the forest. The jade stone will keep the lion from chasing them, and Billy can use the crystal to reduce the beast's power .
