In this chapter, the Ancient Dragon of the Void clan is compared to the Heavenly Phoenix clan. The Ancient Dragon says that out of all the three clan's, the Netherworld python has the most "subsidiary" bloodlines. The heavenly phoenix clan, on the other hand, does not have as many subsidiaries. The true heavenly phoenix, from ancient times, no longer exists. The elder pavilion chief says that the team that was ahead of them is in trouble. He says that he rushed to the pavilion with the Junior Pavilion Chief and that he is glad that he did so in time. He gives the injured disciples some replenishing pills. The pavilion elders say that they underestimated him and that they would like to settle their old grudges. They say that the pavilion is not a place where "ignorant brats" can behave so boldly. They accuse the tigers and wolves of being the top two beasts in the world.
