This chapter opens with a bang. It's click elder qi, who's in a rage. He's about to get into a fight with his brother-in-law, but he's not about to let it get out of hand. He says that the black royals are arrogant and ruthless, and that he doesn't want to be a part of them. He explains that the roots of the ancient tree, the bodhi root, are deep below the earth. The root of the tree, he says, is also known as the "bodhi form" . The bodhi form can transform a person's body and make him or her look and feel better. He also says that they can use this form to purge the "calamitous poison" from the body of a "little medical fairy" , which is why they're using the dragon's pills. They're going to be able to do this with the "bodhi form," he says. He asks if they've taken a look at the new edition of the "aliction manual," which is supposed to be the most important book in the world. He wants to know what this means. He tells her to take a look, even if she's buying nothing. She says that everyone in the black territory is at least the dou king, and everyone should be careful not to get in trouble. He then says that he was the one who fought all along with the Kui wolf gang, and he wants to make sure that they don't get into any trouble in the future.
